E-mail Print PDF

This new release of PIMA now includes the ability to install plugins by a user.  The only plugin that is now included with PIMA is "Crop" so make sure that you also download the files of interest from the Plugins section of the PIMA site.  In addition, the following modifications were made in this release:

- Added Windows 7 support to PIMA.

- Fix issues with ELT version when using PIMA with GV:  Fixed ROI issues,
provided a convenience method to determine if user selected the Use Entire
Image checkbox (ELT version), fixed issue with opening results, fixed issue
with manually editing ROI pixel values, and install issues.

- Modified status bar to start indeterminant when jobs are run.  This is turned
off if and when job receives an initial status from algorithm.  Otherwise
remains indeterminant for duration of the job, thus providing some indication
that job is running.

- Modified PIMA Open Image frame and dialog to properly clean up and added
file permission checks prior to image conversion.

- Added Install Plugin dialog (Tools menu).

- Added usage to command-line client.

- Cleaned up sample source for ALGSample.

- Updated documentation.

- Bug fixes.
